بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
As it comes in the Ḥadīth, on the authority of Abū Ḥamzah Anas bin Mālik -may Allāh be pleased with him-, the servant of the Messenger of Allāh -Peace and Blessings of Allāh be upon him-, that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ ”
None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother that which he loves for himself. al-Bukhārī and Muslim
I have benefited immensely from this lecture/article to understand the correct methodology of understanding Allāh’s dīn, while there are numerous claimants for this religion today, but the truth cannot be plural.
In adherence to the above Ḥadīth of the Prophet ﷺ, I wish to share this transcription, which is in fact a speech given by the Muḥaddith of this era, al-ʿAllāmah Muḥammad Nāsirud-dīn al-Albānī -May Allāh have mercy on him-.
His scholarly status is simply due to his taqwa (piety) and his persistence upon seeking, upholding and distinguishing the haqq (truth) from bātil (falsehood); the haqq being nothing but what Allāh -the Most High- sent down upon His creation, through His Messenger ﷺ. And inshā’ Allāh, one can see that this speech of his bears witness to that.
Also shared below is the same in video form along with original audio and English translation in subtitles, if one prefers to read it this way.
-May Allāh bring benefit through it and guide us all to what pleases him-
سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك وأشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت وأستغفرك وأتوب إليك
